I would describe my dish as:
A vegetarian alternative to black pepper crab but still extremely addictive.
Optional Story:
As my parents are allergic to shell fish, I decided to cook them a special vegetarian version of black pepper crab on Mother's Day. Everyone in my family loved it! Love Afare instant spice really made it so easy to cook at home and taste like restaurant standard!

The ingredients needed are:
- Love, Afare Singapore Black Pepper Crab Spice
- butter 50g
- water 60g
- light soy sauce 1tbsp
- sugar 30g
- onion 2 big (chopped)
- garlic 3 cloves (chopped)
- tofu cube 4 pieces (cut to bite size)
Here's how to cook it:
1. Air fry or fried cut tofu to crispy exterior and set it aside.
2. In a cooking pan, melt butter and fry chopped onion.
3. Once onion turned slightly brown, add chopped garlic and fry until slightly brown.
4. Add water and when it starts to bubble, toss in fried tofu, mix and let it simmer for 3mins until water is down by half.
5. Mix in sugar and light soy sauce then serve in a plate. Enjoy!
